Growing up in a family of seven, there was always a wide range of music playing in my house; from Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull to Chopin and Rachmaninoff; from Harry Nilsson and Kenny Rankin to Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye. And that was all just coming from my sister's room!

I've been composing and arranging music from the time I was first blown away by the music miracle of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." I thought it was amazing that four singers could start the same song in four different places and it all worked together like the words in a crossword puzzle.

The thrill of creating music and arrangements for living, breathing, instrumentalists has been my passion ever since. I've had the good fortune of being a composer and arranger of music for symphony orchestras, school bands, string quartets, jazz bands, and brass ensembles.

I have been a composer and producer of music for network television sitcoms, commercials, radio programs, educational films and more. I've done work as a musical director for live theater, guitarist for recordings and live peformances, and producer, arranger and guitarist on many independent music projects. I've also done music transcribing and have created an assortment of songbooks.
